Overview
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process in caring for all patients, to include: assessing symptoms, planning interventions, implementing treatment plans, evaluating responses to interventions, and revising plan based on overall effectiveness.
- Demonstrates the skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care to the population served.
- Adheres to the established practice standards and procedures at New London Hospital, in the administration of all medications and in-patient care activities.
- Documents care provided using hospital standards.
- Provides education to patients and families based on assessment of learning needs.
- Follows the Standards of Practice established for the Emergency Services Department.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical practice required.
- ED experience preferred.

- Area of Interest: Nursing
- Pay Range: $38.13/Hr. – $53.71/Hr.
- FTE/Hours per pay period: 0.90 – 36 hrs/per week
- Shift: Night
