We are requesting interested candidates to fill out the RSVP form so we can plan onsite resources, but walk-ins are also welcome. Walk-ins should bring a copy of their resume. Walk-ins may not get scheduled for interviews the day of the event based on the availability of the recruiters.

If you are not already trained as a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant or Surgical Technologist, but would like to learn more, we will have representatives from the Dartmouth Hitchcock Workforce Readiness Institute (DHWRI) at this event. DHWRI offers training and career advancement opportunities through comprehensive training programs that offer full-time employment with benefits. Learn more about our DHWRI programs below:

Do you enjoy helping people, learning, and working as part of a team? Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Cheshire Medical Center, in collaboration with River Valley Community College (RVCC) and LNA Health Careers, are offering paid LNA training programs at RVCC in Lebanon and Cheshire Medical Center in Keene. Earn a training wage while you learn entry-level nursing, caregiver and communication skills. In addition, you will learn how to provide compassionate care and work as a member of a patient care team.

Up to eight (8) individuals will be selected and hired by Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics to become Nursing Assistants working in our Lebanon area inpatient units.  Additional cohorts will select up to four (4) individuals to be hired by Cheshire Medical Center to become Nursing Assistants working in our Keene area units.  The training program is taught using a combination of classroom instruction, skills lab, and clinical training. If selected you will receive a training wage and the cost of the training program will be sponsored by Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics and Cheshire Medical Center. Upon completion of the program and obtaining your Nurse Assistant license, you will be offered a full-time Licensed Nurse Assistant position within an inpatient unit.

Do you enjoy helping people, learning, and working with a team? Would you like to make a difference every day? Are you interested in having the opportunity to earn while you learn? Dartmouth Hitchcock Workforce Readiness Institute is looking for motivated individuals for the Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program.

Candidates will apply for their respective geographic locations and be selected and hired by Dartmouth Health to become Medical Assistants working in our Lebanon area clinics (Dartmouth Health Lebanon, Alice Peck Day, Mt. Ascutney Health Center and New London Hospital), Community Group Practice divisions (Manchester, Nashua, Concord), or Keene (Cheshire Medical Center). During the 12-week training period, participants will earn college credits and an hourly training wage. At the end of the 12-week training individuals will sit for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam prior to beginning a 2000-hour Registered Apprenticeship.

This full-time, hands-on training program includes both classroom and clinical training. Classes offered during the program include: Introduction to Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Clinical Medical Assisting with Lab, and Healthcare Communications.
